The final concert of 2010 for the band took place in Carrickfergus Golf Club on Wednesday 22nd December where, to a packed house and under the masterful wit and charm of compere Mr Alan Beattie, the band performed a selection of entertaining music which included a euphonium solo by Peter Graham, a cornet solo by Ruth Dodridge and a cornet quintet featuring the entire front row. The evening also featured a selection of Christmas music all as usual under the baton of Music Director and conductor Des Graham.

The band would like to take this opportunity to thank Carrickfergus Golf Club for their support in organising this concert and also to the superb Mr Alan Beattie who made the show flow so well, although there was a danger of some of the band not being able to play through laughter at some points of the evening.

Finally, thanks to the audience who braved the snow and sub-zero temperatures to attend. Your support means such a lot to us all.
