Black Dyke – British Open Champions 2006
September 2006

The 2006 British Open Championship was held in Birmingham’s Symphony Hall on Saturday 9th September 2006. Playing Philip Wilby’s Vienna Nights the winning band gave a stunning interpretation under the baton of conductor Dr Nicholas Childs and became worthy winners and one of the very few bands of recent times to retain the title.
