The Brass Band League in association with the School of Creative Arts, Queens University, Belfast are running a FREE “Composing and Arranging for Brass Bands” workshop on Sunday 2nd March at 2:30pm to be held in the Music Department at Queen’s University, Belfast. The workshop will last for approximately 3 hours.

The workshop will be led by well known composer and arranger Alan Fernie (who will be adjudicating the Fivemiletown entertainment contest the day before).

This is a fantastic opportunity for those with an interest in writing for brass bands.

Any Band Member interested in attending this workshop should advise the band’s secretary who will ensure that your name is passed on to the BBL for inclusion and will be able to gave you any further information you may require.
