It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our esteemed founder and Band President Mr Jonathan Simms MBE.

During the entire history of the band he was ever supportive and held a great interest in our development and attended many of our competitions giving his support.

His generosity and time was given in equal measure and he will be sorely missed by each and every member of the Third Carrickfergus Band.

We send our deepest and sincere condolences to the entire family circle.

The funeral will take place on Saturday 20th December at 13:30 in Joymount Presbyterian Church.
