On Saturday 18th June 2022, the junior band reached it’s final rehearsal before taking the summer break, where it performed a “mini-concert” to family and friends as they showed what they have achieved since returning after a 2 year shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Incredibly, after only 8 rehearsals since the restart, the band put on an enjoyable and impressive performance with everyone giving their best despite the lengthy break.

It was also great to see that the majority of the band returned to continue where they left off in 2020, however, the band are also recruiting for new members who wish to learn and be part of a fun time on a Saturday morning between 10:30 and 11:45 where Des Graham and team of eager volunteers will endeavour to develop the musical skills of the members. The band welcomes all ages and abilities, so why not give it a try?
